Driving
There are many ways to get into Halifax by car, and one of the most popular ones is by one of the bridges over Halifax Harbour. The toll for a standard vehicle is $1.25. Visitor information for paying the toll.
Cobequid Pass toll: if driving from New Brunswick, PEI via Confederation Bridge, and other points west, please be aware that there is a $4 toll for non-Nova Scotia residents who are driving through the Cobequid Pass. Toll information can be found here. The Cobequid Pass accepts cash, debit and credit.
Getting to and from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport
Transit: Halifax Transit Regional Express 320 will take you into downtown Halifax, and only a short walk away from the conference hotel. Ride the bus from the airport into Halifax, and get off at Scotia Square (Duke & Albermarle). Google Maps route here.
Maritime Bus travels between the airport and their downtown bus terminal. Buy a ticket at their website. Their terminal is a walk or bus along the waterfront from the conference hotel. Google Maps route here.
