Hackfest & Workshops: October 2nd, 2019 at the new University of Alberta Libraries Digital Scholarship Centre, located in Cameron Library. The University of Alberta campus is across the river from the Matrix Hotel.

Matrix Hotel
The official conference hotel is The Matrix, and the link below provides a rate of $160 per night, plus applicable taxes, for a Deluxe King or Double guest room. This rate includes parking, wi-fi, and access to the nightly wine & cheese reception for The Matrix guests:

Note: the room booking form indicates that a UofA ONECard will be required on check-in for the employee and student rate. This will not be required for non-UofA affiliated Access Conference guests.
Days Inn by Wyndham Edmonton Downtown
The Days Inn is just a short 2-minute walk away from The Matrix, and offers rates from $110 per night, including 24-hour reception, wi-fi, a fitness centre and an airport shuttle.
Comfort Inn & Suites
Comfort Inn & Suites is another short walk down the street from the conference hotel. Rates range from $100 and upwards, and includes continental breakfast, weekday newspapers, and a pool!
Holiday Inn Express Edmonton Downtown
Holiday Inn Express is a short few blocks away from the The Matrix conference hotel. Rates start at $160 per night, with King and Queen beds. This rate also includes a fitness room, free breakfast and wi-fi.
University of Alberta Lister Centre Guest Rooms
Comfortable hotel rooms with all the amenities, including a Keurig coffee machine (!), and within a 5-minute walk to the University of Alberta and LRT stations. Rates of $109 per night plus taxes. Note that it will be two stops on the LRT to access the conference venue.
