How Registration Works
Online registration for the conference is being handled through Ryerson Events. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation by email. We are only accepting registration via a credit card. If this isn’t going to work for you, contact accesslibcon@gmail.com.
Registration Costs & Caps
Toronto is an expensive city to host an event in, but the Organizing Committee has worked as hard as we can to keep costs as low as possible. To do this, we’ve had to institute caps on some registration categories. If you have any questions, contact us at accesslibcon@gmail.com.

| Students and under/unemployed | $200+HST | May 5-Sept. 2, or until 25 seats are filled |
| Day Rates | $225+HST | May 24-Sept. 2, or until 20 seats are filled |
Speakers
Once your proposal is accepted, you will receive an email with registration costs and details. Speaker rate is $275+HST.
Student and Under/Unemployed Registration
People who register as students will be asked for their school and program. Once the cap is reached for this category, regular registration & day rates will still be available for those who wish to attend.
We also have diversity scholarships available to help cover registration, travel, and accommodation costs.

Social Events
Remember how we told you Toronto is an expensive city to hold a conference in? Well, that’s partly because space is at a premium. In order to keep costs down, we’re looking at alternative/smaller venues. We plead that you RSVP as part of your registration so we can get a handle on numbers. Need prodding? Here’s what we’re planning:
Tuesday September 8
Hackfest Social: a low key night of snacks and beverages at a pub near the Hackfest location.
Wednesday September 9
Conference Reception: Can’t decide how to celebrate Access? Neither can we! So we’ve booked a space in downtown Toronto that will accommodate karaoke, games, arts and crafts and more. Apps will be served. Accessible location near a subway stop.
Childcare Needs
On the registration form, we ask you to indicate whether you’d like us to investigate childcare for you. Once we have a sense of needs and numbers, we’ll look into options.
Volunteer registration
People who have been asked to volunteer at the conference will be registered by the conference organizers.

Information for International Delegates
We regret to inform that we do not issue letters of invitation to international delegates. Letters of invitation will be issued to invited conference speakers only. We encourage all participants to finalize travel arrangements before registering for Access. For more information please visit the Government of Canada’s website.
Refund policy
Until September 2, 2015 you can receive a full refund for your registration minus a $50 processing fee. After that date refunds will not be issued, but we’ll do what we can to facilitate a transfer.
