Transit in Ottawa is OCTranspo. Sadly, the very convenient train to campus is still under (re)construction, but there is a replacement bus. Not the best, but if you can complain about OCTranspo, you’re an honorary Ottawan! Transit information for getting from the conference hotels to Carleton is on our Hotels page. Taxi services in town include Capital Taxi (613-744-3333) and Blue Line Taxi (613-238-1111). Uber and Lyft are both options too.
There is visitor parking on the Carleton campus in selected lots. Rates vary per lot, and some have a maximum parking time of 4 hours.
If you’re staying downtown and feeling more ambitious, you can try an escooter. Carleton recently partnered with Bird Canada to offer this, but the scooters aren’t allowed to go through the campus. Parking is just off Bronson, so there will still be a bit of a walk to get to both the library and to Richcraft Hall.
