Locations

Heaslip House
For a day, the home of Ryerson University’s G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education will also double as the home of Hackfest. Heaslip House is one block north and one block east of Dundas Subway Station and also has parking available nearby. We’ll be working on the 7th floor in Bronfman Hall. The 7th floor is accessible by elevator or by stairs.

Bram & Bluma Appel Salon, Toronto Reference Library
Nestled on the second floor of the iconic Toronto Reference Library, the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon has been the hosting location for many of Toronto’s cultural events. Located right downtown at 789 Yonge St, this light and elegant space is where all the magic of Access is going to happen! The library is a block north of Bloor Subway Station, with parking available nearby.

Imperial Pub

Ryerson’s unofficial campus pub is where we’ll be holding our Hackfest Social. The upstairs patio has views of Dundas Square, and be sure to head to The Library on upper floor for comfy seating and cozy atmosphere. Great menu, decent beer selection. The Imperial is two blocks east of Dundas Station on the northeast corner of Dundas and Victoria Street Lane.

Loft 404

We’re hosting our all-conference reception in this eclectic and funky event space in the heart of the Entertainment District. Get lost in the maze of rooms with antique furnishings and zany accouterments. Loft 404 is located two blocks north and two blocks west of St Andrew Station at 263 Adelaide St W, halfway between Duncan St and John St.
