On behalf of the Province of Nova Scotia, welcome to the 2023 Access Conference.
Since its inception in 1993, this gathering has consistently brought together librarians, technicians, developers, programmers, and managers, to foster collaboration and provide valuable information and insights that keep participants at the forefront of library technology.
Nova Scotians know first-hand the positive impact that libraries have in the communities they serve. Libraries not only stand as beacons for literacy and lifelong learning, but they also support research and education, and are the hubs of many communities.
As you engage in discussions and workshops, I encourage you to take advantage of your surroundings. Nova Scotia’s natural beauty, cultural richness, and warm hospitality await you outside the conference walls.
Yours Truly,
Honourable Tim Houston, M.L.A
Premier of Nova Scotia
