Call for Reviewers
Access 2019 is seeking peer reviewers to help select presentations for the conference. Peer reviewers will be responsible for reading Access Conference proposals, reviewing them and making a recommendation.
Peer reviewers will be selected by the Program Committee and will ideally include a variety of individuals across disciplines including Access old-timers and newbies alike. You do not need to be attending the conference to volunteer as a peer reviewer.
The peer review process is anonymous for both authors and reviewers. Those who have submitted Access Conference session proposals are welcome and encouraged to become peer reviewers as well. You won’t receive your own proposal to review. Please note that the peer reviewing activity will take place mid-May to mid-June. Proposals are a maximum of 250 words so we expect each review to take no more than 30 minutes. Each reviewer could be assigned up to 2-3 proposals to review depending on the number of submissions.
To submit your interest in reviewing, please fill out this form with your contact information, a sentence or two on why you’d like to review for Access 2019 and some keywords on topics you’d be comfortable reviewing. If you submitted a proposal and indicated on the registration screen you’d like to review you’re already signed up!
We will be assigning all reviews in early May but if you have any questions before then, don’t hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
